Field Of Poppies

Around this time last year our team was fulfilling a massive flower order, creating over a hundred Icelandic poppies for the Aspen art Museum.

These beautiful bouquets were used to decorate the space to promote the opening of a new Andy Warhol exhibit.

Not only was this job fun, it was also the perfect opportunity to master our poppy making skills, including developing the quickest way to make hundreds of identical poppy centers.

Making all these poppies took a lot of overtime and a lot of crinkling petals. Including the hundreds of regular sized poppies, we also constructed 20 jumbo sized poppies to be used for a photo backdrop.

Once everything was assembled, it was easy to get lost in the dreamy landscape that was our studio.
