So... it's been awhile since my last post but SO much has been happening! First off, our second son,  Thurgood Ember Lohr, was born in November 3rd! He's a happy and healthy and laid back little guy who can't wait to chase his big brother around.  After a brief hiatus for maternity leave,  I got right back to work with a bunch of custom baby shower invitations and favors and a new piece called "447" for an art show at Main St Gallery.  You can see that piece and read all about it here

All at the same time,  our fabulous tenants, Ingersoll Painting & Construction, started the renovations to our storefront space. They put up a new wall to split the space into two areas,  one for my new studio and one to rent out (see bottom two pics below)! Then they scraped and painted the original tin ceilings with champagne colored metallic paint, refinished the parquet floors in the display windows (see top two pics below!), and installed brand new, super durable flooring that looks like wood...but is super easy to clean!  The new space (pictured above) is all ready to be painted and to move in! I'm so so excited to finally have a space to spread out my equipment and have separate work areas for cutting and gluing and, most importantly,  to have a space to meet with clients that doesn't have crackers ground into the rug. #mompreneur

Another big thing going on is that we are entered in the FEDEX Small Business Grant contest! Voting is open now through April 4th and you can vote once per day.  We would love it so much if you would take a minute to click this link to vote for Papercraft Miracles or vote find the link on our website here!

We will keep you posted on Instagram with lots of pictures of the new studio as it comes together! Follow us here if you haven't already.

I'll leave you with a picture of baby Thurgood for good measure.
