Bookbinding for Beginners Intensive

Saturday, October 15th / 9am-4pm (lunch provided) Instructor: Janna Willoughby-Lohr Learn the basics of bookbinding to create books at home! Topics covered will include: how to properly cut book board, paper grain info, adhesive types, how to create hardcover journals, overview of different binding styles, overview of all basic tools and how/when to use them, and much more. After the basics are covered, participants will be able to pick a style of binding and the instructor will work with them to create a finished book. The fee includes a 'Bookbinding Tool Kit' with all the essential tools:needles, awl, wax, thread, linen tapes, knife, bone folder, jade glue and more.

Cost: $200 includes all materials (Bookbinding Tool Kit)
